Pompeii unity game
Escape Pompeii was the final project of my degree which resulted in me securing a first class honours in 3D Design, model making and digital art. The project spanned over 4 months which was the inclusion of research, design, build and execution. The final result is a fully functional first person walkthrough type game including a menu, user interface and animations. The game is to be an accurate representation of the way Pompeii was in its original form.
The process for all assets followed the same pipeline. I began building the shape in 3DS Max and developing the UV's. This was followed by detail sculpting in zBrush. Then the texturing was completed in Substance Painter where it would be baked and then assembled in Unity.
